Malang (21/9) - University of Muhammadiyah Malang, through Field IV (Bureau of Research, Service, and Cooperation), together with the Faculty of Law, again agreed to collaborate with state institutions. This time, UMM's turn was to collaborate with the Supreme Court (MA) through the Policy Strategy Agency and Legal and Judicial Education and Training. Located in the Senate Conference Room (5/9), the agenda for signing the memorandum of understanding was attended by the Rector, Vice Rector IV, and the Dean of the Faculty of Law UMM and his staff.
The Head of the Policy Strategy Agency and Legal and Judicial Education and Training, Bambang H Mulyono, S.H., M.H. felt that this collaboration could be projected in the future for both parties in the fields of education, collaborative research, and other forms of academic activities at the University level and later, especially at the Faculty of Law.
Meanwhile, Prof. Tongat as dean of the Faculty of Law, also stated that we want to strengthen legal education and training in Indonesia by signing this memorandum of understanding and cooperation agreement. Surely, this collaboration will benefit both institutions and all Indonesian people.
Indeed, legal education and training are shared responsibilities, not only for legal education institutions but also for law enforcement agencies and the community. This collaboration is expected to further improve the quality of legal education and training, especially for students and the academic community at UMM.
