Wednesday, September 5, 2024 - Universitas Muhammadiyah (UMM) has shown great potential in various collaborations, especially in the field of information technology. Today, UMM was visited by a WIPRO company from India, which is engaged in information systems and cybersecurity.
WIPRO Sarita Venkattesh Company, General Manager of WIPRO, visited UMM to explore information and potential that can be cooperated with the university. This visit is the first step that shows WIPRO's interest in increasing synergy and cooperation in the field of information technology.
Cooperation with Microsoft, Smita Roy said that the potential of UMM can be cooperated with Microsoft related to learning for students. “UMM has big potential and well-educated human resources,” said Smita Roy. “This collaboration can help improve the ability of UMM students to use more sophisticated information technology, such as Microsoft Power Platform and Data Analysis. Thus, UMM students can be better prepared to face challenges in the global technology industry.”
Muhammadiyah University has enormous potential in the field of information technology,” UMM Vice-Rector IV, Muhamad Salis Yuniardi M.Psi, PhD. said ”With eleven Faculties and 63 diverse Programs Study, UMM has been involved in various national and international collaborations. We have also developed an integrated database system, Management Information System (SIM) of all work units, and ICT-based Quality Assurance System.”
He also said that UMM has developed strong cooperation with leading technology companies such as Microsoft. “This cooperation has helped improve the ability of UMM students to use more sophisticated information technology".
