UMM Continues to Build Partnerships for a Brighter Future. Under the theme "Creating Our Future," UMM, in collaboration with Gramedia, Pilot, SUN, Grasindo, and Coconut, held the "Gramedia Goes to Campus" event.

The three-day event, held from October 23-24, 2024, featured various programs, including self-development talk shows, skill-enhancing workshops, and engaging tryout sessions designed to equip students with the skills they need for their future careers.

The event also welcomed prominent alumni and guest speakers, such as Mariposa author Luluk HF, who is an alumna of UMM, along with Gus Dhofir, author of Peradaban Sarung, and Tyo Guritno, CEO and Co-Founder of Inspigo. They shared insights and experiences in pursuing their own career aspirations.

Meanwhile, Gramedia Director Heri Darmawan emphasized Gramedia's vision to promote national education. "That’s why we are here at UMM—to contribute and create a positive impact, especially in the field of education. We hope this program can truly inspire and open pathways to success for young people," he said.

UMM Rector, Prof. Nazaruddin Malik, M.Si., shared similar sentiments. According to him, the collaborative agenda between UMM, Gramedia, and Bank Danamon is highly insightful, offering students new knowledge and perspectives.

"I am delighted to see events focused on career development, including the importance of writing. My role is to motivate and support the younger generation, especially UMM students, to remain open-minded. Additionally, this event supports increased literacy among young people," he emphasized.

Beyond the current event, UMM, through its Research, Service, and Collaboration Bureau, is also exploring expanded partnerships through future collaborative activities, such as educational events and a Book and Edufair.
