UMM EXPLORE OPPORTUNITIES FOR COOPERATION AND COLLABORATION WITH TECHNOLOGICAL DIGITAL UNIVERSITY OF YOGYAKARTA

Vice Chancellor IV, UTD Chancellor, and representatives from the UMM cooperation and academic fields while exchanging souvenirs after a discussion on exploring cooperation

Wednesday, November 20, 2024 — Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) welcomed a visit from the Rector of Universitas Technological Digital (UTD) Yogyakarta. This visit focused on exploring potential collaborations between UMM, through its Cooperation Division (Division IV), and UTD. During the meeting, Sri Redjeki, Ph.D., Rector of UTD, proposed the possibility of student exchanges from UTD to UMM.  

Attended by Muhamad Salis Yuniardi, Ph.D., Vice Rector IV of UMM, and representatives from academic fields, began with discussions on the *Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka* (MBKM) system implemented at UMM. The system was presented as a model for reference and further discussion. This meeting continued with deliberations on potential collaboration in research and publications, particularly in the fields of Information and Technology (IT).  

Vice Rector IV of UMM emphasized the importance of tangible outcomes in collaborations, stating that no Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) should remain without follow-up activities. He urged that this partnership be promptly formalized through a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) and Implementation Agreement (IA) to ensure its execution and proper documentation. (red/dik)
