On August 9, 2024, the Research, Service, and Cooperation Division of University of Muhammadiyah Malang visited the East Java PWN Office located in Surabaya to discuss the design of Cooperation in developing a Scholarship plan for Amil in LAzismu. The scholarship plan is intended for mail managers in the LAzismu environment to be able to continue their studies at the D-3 Finance and Banking level at the UMM Vocational Faculty.

The Head of the D-3 Finance and Banking Study Program, Samsul Hadi, explained that this discussion discussed how the implementation design, curriculum, credits, and competencies were adjusted to the Recognition of Past Learning (RPL) model, including the particular financing scheme based on this collaboration.

On the other hand, Imam Hambali, the leader of LAzizmu, revealed that this was an exciting collaboration and a challenge. “Because in LAzismu, the average is already S1, but not a few are still in high school. So, of course, this will be an exciting opportunity for us to follow up,” he said. In addition, he also hopes that not only the D-3 level but also scholarship cooperation at the S-1 and S-2 levels can be developed again so that it can further improve the quality of resources in LAzismu.

Meanwhile, Muhammad Salis Yuniardi, Vice-Rector IV of UMM, stated, “For the management process and also the rules related to the RPL program, we are still waiting for further policies both from the government and also from UMM itself. So that until later this collaboration is implemented, we can also take advantage of the company's scholarships at the S2 and S3 levels.”
